Description.
A porcelain figurine with a glossy finish, depicting a ballerina in a dress with lace and gold detailing. Manufacturer’s mark on the base. The skin and costume retain the characteristic bright white hue of glazed porcelain, while the flowers and bows are decorated with gold leaf or gold metallic pigments applied during a third firing. This technique requires an additional firing at a lower temperature to permanently fix the precious metal to the vitreous surface.
Size: 14 x 9 cm
