Gilded bronze dorje, Qing Dynasty

Cast and gilded bronze forming an eight-pointed dorje or vajra. The piece features a spherical central shaft (dharani) decorated with incised inscriptions (大明永乐年施), flanked by two lotus flowers from which curved points in the shape of makara claws emerge, converging toward a straight central point. Noteworthy is the rich central ornamentation, featuring relief depictions of wrathful deities. Qing Dynasty (1644–1912). or later.
