Description.
Gilded bronze censer with a robust, globular body covered in raised vertical lines running across the entire surface from the rim to the base. The exterior, in a dark bronze tone, shows traces of the original gilding, creating a beautiful contrast. The base bears a six-character seal, ‘大明宣德年制,’ in a rectangular box. Ming dynasty (1368-1644).
