Description.
Pendant made of gilded bronze, oval, decorated on the front face with a relief image of Padmasambhava, also known as ‘Guru Rinpoche’. He is seated, with both legs bent and his body erect, covered with long, thin robes that fall in folds. On his head he wears a lotiform crown (ushnisha mukuta), which frames his face with a serene expression, while in his arms he holds a Khatvanga staff and a ‘Bumpa’ or gourd bowl. The piece is framed by an embroidered leather case, making it a pendant.
