Description.
The upper part of the piece is crowned by a detailed sculpture of a gallant couple dressed in courtly fashion. The structure rests on an imposing, multi-tiered, chiseled bronze pedestal. The middle section is lavishly decorated with symmetrical reliefs of floral motifs, scrolls, and a central Rococo-style medallion. Finally, the lower base features sculpted skirts adorned with openwork shells and acanthus leaves, culminating in four robust, sinuous, and stylized legs that elegantly elevate the entire architectural piece. Paris movement. The crystal back cover is missing, and the dial is in poor condition.
Size:: 47 x 37 cm
