Description.
Made of glazed ceramic in a combination of cobalt blue, green and yellow ochre. The figure depicts a guardian dog (shishi) in a dynamic pose, with one paw resting on an openwork sphere. The design is notable for the mane, the flaming tail and the vigorous facial expression.
