Glazed porcelain bowl ‘Branches in bloom’, with Daoguang seal

Made of porcelain with a circular shape, curved walls, wide mouth and short circular foot. The exterior decoration, executed with polychrome glazes from the pink family, features a composition of flowering branches and buds that emerge from the base and extend to frame lobed cartouches of lotus flowers, all against a background of intense coral colour. The base bears the six-character seal ‘大清道光年制’ in underglaze blue.
