Description.
A porcelain bowl with an open, slightly flared body, standing on a narrow circular foot. The exterior surface is richly decorated with ‘falangcai’ glazes, featuring a turquoise background on which are circular medallions with the ‘shou’ character in iron-red glaze, surrounded by multi-coloured floral motifs and scrolls in shades of yellow, pink and blue. The interior and base show a uniform turquoise glaze. On the base is a six-character seal in underglaze blue ‘大清雍正年制’. Qing dynasty (1644-1912) or later.
