Description.
Porcelain vase in the shape of a double gourd, painted in cobalt blue. The two bulbs are decorated with continuous scenes. The lower bulb, which is larger, depicts a crowded scene of scholars and dignitaries in a garden landscape. The upper bulb shows an immortal among clouds. The base bears a six-character mark ‘大明崇禎年制’ within a double circle.
