Glazed porcelain teapot ‘Ladies’ with protection bag, Qing dynasty

Glazed porcelain teapot decorated with white overglaze and polychrome enamels. It has a cylindrical, compact shape with a flat lid, a short, sinuous spout and two small handles on the shoulders. It is decorated with a scene of ladies in a garden with a flowering tree, accompanied by a poem. Comes with a protective bag, including an embroidered silk protective bag. Qing dynasty (1644-1912)
