Description.
A beautiful vase made of liulí (琉璃) with an irregular globular shape, a flat base and a short neck topped with an everted rim. The piece displays an exceptional sky-blue hue, with great translucency creating a visual effect of great delicacy. The surface bears a patina that attests to its age. Tang Dynasty (618–907) or later.
