Description.
Crafted from white jade with areas of patina in shades of ochre and reddish-brown, a result of its age. The shape of the piece is characteristic of the ‘Gongzi Pei’: a rectangular body with a deep ‘H’-shaped indentation. It has a hole for hanging. Han Dynasty (206 BC – 220 AD) or later.
