Description.
Antique grandfather clock (papier-mâché) in a classic style features a vertical structure divided into three wooden sections. The upper section, or chapel, is distinguished by its semicircular arched finial framing a circular metal dial with black Roman numerals and stylized classical hands, topped by an ornamental crest with ornate brass fittings. The central section consists of a long, slender case with a solid rectangular door and a small side lock to protect the pendulum. Finally, the entire assembly rests on a smooth, cubic base slightly wider than the central section, finished with a straight plinth.
