Description.
A sculpture carved from dark green jade with lighter natural veins, depicting an immortal. The standing figure carries a gnarled staff in his right hand, while in his left hand he holds what appears to be a peach or a symbolic object. The figure has a long beard and moustache, prominent eyebrows, and a serene face. He wears a robe with loose folds that flow to the base. The piece stands on a circular carved wooden pedestal with four curved legs. Qing Dynasty (1644–1912) or later.
