Description.
Rectangular seal carved from mottled grey jade with rounded edges. It is adorned with a lion lying in wait with its body tense, head lowered and fierce expression; it features incised details marking the fur. The matrix shows the characters ‘闲于白鹤心’ engraved. Qing dynasty (1644–1912).
