Description.
A grey-grained jade with the appearance of an oblong pebble, which may have been used as a brush-holder in connection with writing. On one side there is an engraved inscription that reproduces a poem by the Qianlong Emperor, the letters of which are embossed in gold. In good overall condition with wear.
