Description.
Hanging clock, Eugène Farcot (1830-1896). Porcelain wall clock with gilt brass mount, late 19th century. The cobalt porcelain is decorated with leaves and a griffin; the gilt metal mount depicts a flame-shaped urn, griffins, and scrolls. Eight-day wind-up mechanism with hour display. Signed on the mechanism with the company mark.
