Description.
A white Hetian jade vase, featuring a pendant-like structure and a flattened shape, designed to be suspended by a chain of jade links carved from the same block, which attaches to a large and intricate structure with movable links. The body of the vase is decorated in bas-relief with taotie mask motifs. The neck is flanked by four handles, two sinuous and two beast-shaped, from which movable rings hang. The piece is integrated into a decorative carved wooden structure, which serves as a hanging support. Qing Dynasty (1644–1912).
