Hermès, ‘Life on Horseback’ silk scarf

Silk scarf from the prestigious French fashion house Hermès, entitled "La vie du cheval" (The Life of the Horse), originally designed by the renowned artist Laurence Bourthoumieux. Crafted from high-quality natural silk twill, the piece stands out for its elegant color palette in shades of beige, cream, mustard yellow, ochre, and burgundy red accents. The design is organized radially and inspired by medieval and chivalric iconography, structured in symmetrical quadrants defined by arches and heraldic motifs of subtle filigree. In the central medallion, surrounded by banners, a knight is depicted carrying a lance, beneath which is a scroll bearing the model's motto. The inscription "HERMÈS PARIS" is visible at the bottom center.
