Description.
Elegant pendant crafted from white Hetian jade with natural veins in reddish and orange tones. The stone has been gently polished to retain its original almond shape and is framed in a finely crafted gold-plated metal mount depicting a horse's head in relief at the top, with a black enamelled mane and inlaid green eyes.
The pendant is suspended from a beaded cord alternating with forty-nine oval, polished white Hetian jade beads and small reddish spheres. It comes in a custom-made copper-toned textile box with a dark interior. Qing Dynasty (1644–1912) or later.
