Description.

A Hetian jade pendant plaque with a lobed floral shape, finely carved on both sides. One side depicts a scene of figures in a boat under a banana tree, engraved with soft, subtle lines. On the opposite side, a poem in regular calligraphy appears, accompanied by two incised seals in relief. The upper part is pierced with openwork decoration of facing birds and spiral motifs. The lower edge also features openwork with decorative elements. The colour of the jade is milky white with subtle natural ochre inclusions in the openwork. Comes with a custom-made box. Qing Dynasty (1644–1912) or later.
