Hetian jade rock ‘Landscape and Poem’, Qing dynasty

White jade with reddish areas extending across the surface, the result of natural oxidation patina. The piece has an irregular rock shape with rounded edges. The front is decorated with a landscape scene depicting an old man sailing on a lake. The reverse side features an inscription in relief. It comes with a base and a custom-made box, both lined with traditional fabrics. Qing dynasty (1644–1911).
