Hetian jade rock ‘Landscape and Poem’, signed Zigang

White Hetian jade rock with subtle areas of ochre patina. The piece has an irregular rock shape with rounded edges and a silky polish. It is decorated on both sides with an incised scene of a mountainous landscape, with trees, figures and a small poem. Above the composition is an incised poem that extends to the reverse, where the engraved signature ‘Zigang’ (子剛) is included.
