Description.
Seal carved from white Hetian jade with ochre inclusions. It is cubic and crowned by the figure of a lion in a vigilant stance, with a compact body and incised details on its mane and tail. On one side is the incised poem ‘辛巳十月次闲仿钝丁意作’; while on the base is the seal in bas-relief ‘花落柴门掩夕晖’.
