Description.
Creamy white jade seal carved into a square shape. It features a turtle-shaped finial, a symbol of longevity and stability. The carving is polished and rounded, with incised details marking the plates of the shell. The jade displays reddish-rust coloured veins. The matrix bears an inscription of engraved characters ‘志古之道’. Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).
