Description.
Teapot with carved Hetian jade lid, oval, with an elegant spout, a curved handle and a circular foot. The lid is domed and topped with a bud-shaped knob. The jade is creamy white, with veins of brown ochre patina. The decoration on each side shows a fierce dragon (long) and a majestic phoenix in a graceful dance, carved in low relief. With custom-made box. Qing dynasty (1644–1912).
