Hetian white jade Bi disc “Dragons,” Qing Dynasty

White Hetian jade, with areas of orange patina. It consists of a large-scale ritual Bi disc, decorated with three Qilong dragons carved in high relief, featuring sinuous bodies and forked tails, intertwining with the disc’s rim. The reverse side features a background of raised grains, divided by a petal design. The piece rests on a luxurious carved wooden stand decorated with dragon motifs and cloud scrolls.
