Hetian white jade box and ring set, Qing dynasty

Box set with lid and archer's ring, carved from white Hetian jade. The box is cylindrical with a rounded top lid and rests on three small feet. The lid and body fit together very precisely, and the design is minimalist. The archer's ring is tubular, wide and polished. The jade is pure white and uniform, with excellent translucency. Qing dynasty (1644–1912).
