Description.
Carved white Hetian jade incense burner, flat and rounded in shape, with a lid and three short, rounded legs. The jade is pale, creamy white with a highly polished finish. It is adorned with two ram's heads with curled horns carved in high relief, which serve as handles. The lid is domed and topped with a simple knob. It stands on a carved wooden base with an openwork pattern of ruyi scrolls. Qing dynasty (1644–1912).
