Description.
Carved white Hetian jade. A flattened-shaped vase with a globular body decorated in bas-relief with medallions depicting scenes of birds amongst branches and flowers in a tranquil landscape. The neck is flanked by two handles carved in the shape of elephant heads, from whose trunks hang movable rings. It stands on a wooden base carved with cloud and scroll motifs. Qing Dynasty (1644–1912).
