Description.
High-purity white jade. The piece is cylindrical and decorated with reliefs and engravings. It depicts an elderly man carved in relief, dressed in traditional robes, surrounded by rocks and a tree. The rest of the body is covered with an engraved calligraphic inscription. It has a central longitudinal perforation for use as a pendant. Qing dynasty (1644–1912).
