Hetian white jade rock ‘Horses and Poem’, Qing dynasty

Snow-white Hetian jade rock with a very smooth polish. It has a rock-like shape, with an irregular elongated morphology and rounded edges. The surface is decorated on the front with an incised carving of horses in a landscape, under the shade of a pine tree, accompanying a long incised poem next to two square seals. It rests on a custom-made base and comes with a presentation box. Qing dynasty (1644–1911).
