Description.
Brown jade pendant with a profuse whitish marbled patina. The piece has the classic (璜) shape: a flat semicircular arch with a crested edge, decorated on the upper part and sides with fine bas-reliefs of volutes and spirals that form the image of schematic beasts. Noteworthy are the four small perforations for ritual suspension. Liangzhu culture (approx. 3300–2300 BC) or later.
