Oil on panel. Genre scene depicting a gentleman in a sumptuous interior, examining a medieval helmet on a red cloth. The figure is surrounded by armour, war trophies and richly decorated furniture. Signed and dated in the lower right corner ‘León I Escosura. 1865’.
