Description.
Elastic bracelet composed of eight rectangular beads carved from Hetian jade, each engraved with calligraphic inscriptions. The jade exhibits a natural colour variation ranging from pale cream to dark brown, with natural veining. The rectangular pieces are interspersed with small, spherical, orange-red stone beads. This type of combination was common in Qing jewellery. Qing Dynasty (1644–1912) or later.
