In the case of antiques, elaborated specimens acquired prior to the entry into force of the Regulation, that is, before June 1, 1947, would be exempt from the prohibition indicated in the preceding paragraphs. The competent authorities indicate that in this If a CITES certificate is not required, All our lots of antique ivory are accompanied by a Certificate of Guarantee of origin prior to 1947. There are a series of exceptions to this prohibition, it is that it can be reliably demonstrated that the copies have been acquired or introduced in Spain before January 1, 1986.
