Description.
A hollow plaster sculpture with a patina, in the costumbrista style. It depicts a couple dressed in traditional Valencian costume riding pillion on a horse. The richly decorated design stands out, emulating the ceremonial finery typically worn in folk parades and pilgrimages. Signed “J. Palacios” on the base.
