Description.
Ceremonial ruyi sceptre, with a gilded bronze structure simulating a gnarled branch. Various pieces of jade in different shades have been set along the body. The main head is formed by a larger plaque of white and green jade, carved with the double gourd motif, a symbol of longevity.
