Description.
A cream-white jade pendant with a deeply weathered surface and a network of fine cracks. It depicts a mystical bird with outstretched wings and a stylised form. The head is characterised by two prominent circular eyes and a barely sketched beak. Hongshan culture (c. 4700–2900 BC) or later.
