Description.
Jade figure, made of pale green jade with areas of alteration in ochre and black tones. The deity is depicted in the padmasana posture on a lotus-shaped base. The figure has a total of six arms holding ritual objects or forming various mudras. Its three faces have a serene expression and are framed by elongated ears and a tall ceremonial headdress. A halo of sinuous flames surrounds the image, giving it a solemn air. Liao dynasty (916–1125) or later.
