Description.
Reddish-brown jade carving with dark veins and signs of patina due to age. It depicts a smiling child with a sturdy body and bowed head, carrying a lotus on his shoulder. It is decorated with reliefs and sinuous lines that detail the clothing and cheerful expression. Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).
