Description.
A free-standing figure in carved white jade. It shows the image of an affable old man with an elongated face and long beard, wrapping his arms around a little girl with a smiling expression and hair tied in two high buns. Both figures are dressed in long traditional robes. On the old man's shoulders is a twisted peach branch with fleshy fruit. Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) or later.
