Description.
Greyish jade with areas of whitish mineral alteration. The piece has a flat, sinuous design representing a dragon with simplified features and an archaic style. The profuse decoration of small spirals made of gold and silver settings is noteworthy. The surface shows extensive patina, evidence of its age. Warring States period (475–221 BC) or later.
