Description.
A ritual ornament made of jade with a yellowish-green hue. The piece is composed of several flat sections joined together by small perforations and green cord, reproducing the split circular silhouette of this mythical creature. The surface features archaic linear incisions with schematic symbols. Hongshan culture (c. 4700–2900 BC) or later.
