Description.
Olive-green jade, with deep reddish-rust-coloured patinas. It depicts a bird-like figure viewed from the front, with a prominent head featuring circular eyes and a triangular beak, framed by two large outstretched wings. It has a central perforation for hanging. Hongshan culture (c. 4700–2900 BC) or later.
