Description.
A finely polished, dark-hued jade pendant with ochre flecks depicting a reclining dog with its head turned toward its tail, in a resting position. The figure, with its soft, compact lines, stands out for the schematic representation of its legs and tail, as well as the engraved details in its fur and ears, which convey serenity. The piece features a drilled hole for use as a pendant. Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) or later.
