Description.
Milky white carved jade with ochre and honey-coloured veins. It depicts a Guiren "贵人" (high-ranking nobleman) in a solemn kneeling position. The bas-relief decoration with incised archaic motifs is particularly noteworthy. It has a hole in the centre for hanging. It shows patina due to ageing. Spring and Autumn period (770–476 BC) or later.
