Description.
Small archaic jade amulet in pale celadon green, with an orange streak on the face. The piece represents a zoomorphic or anthropomorphic “spirit” figure, with a simplified head and a smooth cocoon-shaped body. The highly abstract carving is characteristic of the Neolithic Hongshan culture. It comes with a gemological certificate.
The piece is accompanied by a gemological certificate issued by Hong Kong Kowloon Jade & Jewellery Laboratory LTD in 2023. SC241422.
