Description.
Carved from pale green jade with areas of brown patina. The piece depicts a stylized anthropomorphic figure in a seated position. It has large almond-shaped eyes and a head with elongated horns. The body has arms folded across the chest and bent legs. It shows patina due to age. Hongshan culture (approx. 4000–3000 BC) or later.
