Description.
A white jade carving in the shape of a pendant, with a flat body, consisting of two fleshy peaches joined by a thick branch adorned with long, sinuous leaves. At the bottom is a small bat with outstretched wings, subtly climbing between the peaches. The joint representation of the bat and the peaches is a traditional symbol of prosperity and good omens. It shows patina from ageing. Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) or later.
